IN DA HOWWWWSE!

Readers-

I just wanted to take this QUICK MOMENT to put it out there that yah boy, Stephen A is in da HOWSE.

Those of you that view ESPN are most DEFINATELY aware that my CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED show, QUITE FRANKLY is no longer on that network.

What you DON'T KNOW is that my show WAS NOT CANCELLED. Ya heard right, NOT CANCELLED. ESPN is a proud network, and I don't wanna hate on them (some o' mah boys are still kicking it there), but the truth has been distorted to SAVE FACE.

In an effort to reach a more FOCUSED AUDIENCE, I have decided to direct the HOOGE amounts of energy it takes to put on such a program as QUITE FRANKLY right here on NOIS.

I will be conducing INTERVIEWS and leading DISCUSSIONS with many of the same peeps that ya'll saw step out on my show, QUITE FRANKLY!

So, KEEP CHECKING in, as the ball will be rolling soon.

AND REMEMBER: IT'S MAH HOWSE!...BUT YA'LL WELCOME ANYTIME!

Oh, and As-Salaam-Alaikum.

(Just in: Stephen A's first "show" will be a moderated discussion with Jason Whitlock, and a surprise guest. Topic: Why does Jason hate Negroes?)

NOISB, can being forced by your white opressors to work on Martin Luther King day be considered racist?

Sir, while we at NofI do have a differing doctrine from MLK on how to address and combat the inequalities levied on our people; and generally see no cause for rejoicing on the day of his birth (or death...or whichever it may be that this day remembers), we do find it to be completely predictable that many a plantation boss attempts to deprive the chattel the opportunity to commemorate a Negro. The legislated "holiday" of MLK Day is simply a bone thrown to quell the outrage of the original human. We recommend that all members of the Tribe of Shabazz take this away from the white devil. Work on MLK by CHOICE. Deprive them of the chance to not only placate us with empty holidays, but to later rescind the plasification and employ their racist devices by forcing us to work anyway!

Sir, we aren't here for your enjoyment, so, I suppose, we are all satisfied with the result.

you fail to mentioin the is the real reason that Stephen A. was fired.

it was not, as you say and maybe believe, due to the color of his skin. nor did it involve the content of his character.

mr smith was fired for one reason and one reason only.

the brother has stink breath. it's nasty.

Sir, we would suggest that you enroll yourself in a remedial reading comprehension class. Nowhere was it mentioned that Mr. Smiff was FIRED, let alone the reason being race or character. Mr. Smiff was not fired. He sought a more enlightened audience. But thank you for your comments. Even the clueless and illiterate are entitled to voice their opinion. No matter how meager the value.

MLK day is neither his birth day or death day, although sometimes it conincendtally falls on his day of birth. The powers that be (read: white people) decided to make it the 3rd monday in January and not simply MLK's day of birth.

Sir, thank you for that clarification. There is addtional symbolic meaning behind the 3rd Monday of January, as well. It may well be a little known calumny that the 3rd Monday in January was traditionally the day of the first slave auction of the year at the Port of Charleston, SC.
